Widgets and Live Text enables IBM® Sametime® Connect client 8.5.2 end users to see and act on Live Text in the Sametime chat window and chat history and use widgets (.XML files) created for their use. Power users and administrators can create and edit widgets and deploy them to users to engage a web page, feed, or Google Gadget, and install features from an update site.
The information provided here is for the Sametime Connect client. See the Lotus Notes® documentation for information about the Live Text and Widgets features for Sametime that appears in the Lotus Notes sidebar. In this case, the Lotus Notes Live Text and Widgets features also control Sametime in Notes.
By default web links in Notes documents are opened in the embedded browser of Notes if you don't change the web browser preference. However sometimes you'd like to open the web links by the external system browser.
This plugin enables the external system browser to open the web link. In all types of Notes documents users can select the full URL or they can use the live text context menu to initiate this.
