Gelcoatarbeiten, Lackierarbeiten, Antifouling erneuern – an Bord muss fast überall geschliffen werden. Mit gutem Equipment geht das deutlich leichter und stressfreier. Ich will euch unsere Wahl deshalb vorstellen und erläutern.
In diesem Video zeige ich euch, wie ich das komplette Holz in Biber’s Aussenbereich und teilweise auch im Innenbereich restauriert habe. 50 Jahre altes Teak und Mahagoni, allenfalls auch Eiche, ich weiss es nicht überall – auf jeden Fall sah es höllisch aus. Grau, alte Lackreste, ausgewaschen und gesplittert. Das ist nun Vergangenheit. Holz lackieren ist zwar nicht per se schwierig, doch auch hier kann man einiges falsch machen und es gibt einiges zu beachten. Zuerst hiess es: Alle alten Lackreste entfernen. Und dann lackieren – und zwar mit Pinsel, Rolle und Verschlichtpinsel. Das ganze 8 Mal, und dazwischen immer trocknen lassen, schleifen und entstauben. Klingt eigentlich ganz einfach, oder? Es gibt ein paar Tips und Tricks, die das ganze noch einfacher machen.
